Increasing the internal resolution of software mode would not only be very slow, but it would defeat the point of doing the rendering in software, which is that it’s able to replicate the behaviour of the GS more closely than the hardware.

By increasing the internal resolution you would fall into most if not all of the issues that require you to at least use Native Resolution in hardware. The project is open to contributions, and we’ll look at every Pull Request people send, but we won’t be developing this ourselves.

Really if you want new features, feel free to create a wiki page called “Feature Requests”, and write the things you’d like to see done, in there.
